BBQs There are 17 BBQs scattered through out the park. Some are located within the shelter of the patios and shelter sheds while others are situated under the cool shade of the Gum Trees. The majority of the BBQs are gas, and can be used free of charge. Please ask at the kiosk for a staff member to light them. Patios and Shelter Sheds The park has 2 patio areas and 4 shelter sheds which create an idea location to enjoy lunch. They also provide a great area for Social Clubs, Youth Groups and School Groups to base themselves for the day. The availability of the patios and shelter sheds is subject to change according to group bookings. Kiosk The Kiosk sells a range of food and drinks ranging from pies, pasties and sausage rolls to hot chips, Coca-Cola soft drinks and Peters ice creams. Conveniently located in the centre of the Park, a snack or drink is never too far away. The Kiosk also sells a range of souvenirs and gifts ranging from hats and other clothing accessories to key rings, stickers and postcards. Licenced Cafe and The Balcony The Licensed Cafe can serve up a range of dishes from hamburgers and freshly cut sandwiches to tea and cappuccinos. Attached to the Cafe is the The Balcony overlooking the lake and the River Red Gums along the banks of the Hindmarsh River. This creates the perfect location to enjoy a relaxing lunch or afternoon tea. Lockers The Lockers are located near the male and female change rooms which are attached to the Kiosk. There is a $5 charge for the hire of a locker. Toilets and Change Rooms Separate male and female toilets and change rooms are located next to the kiosk. Other toilets, including the disable toilet, are located in the licensed cafe. Car and Coach Parking Up to 500 hundred parking spaces are provided for cars within the Park boundary. Special parking spaces are provided for coaches transporting large groups.
